Patient Care Liaison & Certified Peer Mentor for the State of Florida
On July 2004, an unfortunate hit-and-run accident occurred between a motor vehicle and Alex’s motorcycle, leaving him a paraplegic with a complete T3-T7 spinal cord injury. Following the accident was a hospitalization lasting almost one year with a subsequent admission to a rehab facility. With close support from family and friends, Alex was able to adapt to life as a paraplegic. Alex’s most striking trait is his determination and execution to remain positive in all situations and remain independent.
As one of the founders of the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group of South Florida and a Certified Peer Mentor for the State of Florida, he is able to provide support and guidance for others who are not as independent, and who may be struggling to adjust to life after a spinal cord injury. His optimism and determination to live life to the fullest following his accident has been truly inspirational to many. Alex Lutin is now a Patient Care Liaison for Ability Medical Supply, Inc. who has serviced and cared for Alex since day one of his injury and we are proud to welcome him as a member of our team and we know that he will be of great service to our customers.
